CmdEnter legal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 29, 2026

CmdEnter is built to collect as little about you as possible. There is no account, and your training data never leaves your browser. This policy explains what that means in practice.

1. The short version

We don’t make you create an account. Your progress and certificates are stored locally in your own browser and are not transmitted to or stored by us. The only personal information connected to your purchase is handled by our payment provider, Creem, so that your order can be processed.

2. Data stored in your browser

The Service records your deck progress, timings, and graduation status in your browser’s local storage on your device. This information stays on your device: we do not receive it, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser storage will erase this progress, and using a different browser or device will not carry it over.

3. Payment information

Purchases are processed by Creem, which may act as merchant of record. When you buy CmdEnter, you provide payment and billing details directly to Creem — we never see or store your full card number. Creem shares with us limited order information (such as your email address, the product purchased, and order status) so we can deliver your purchase and provide support. Our server also receives Creem webhook notifications about your order (for example checkout completed, subscription renewals, refunds, and disputes) so we can issue license keys, keep subscription access in sync, and respond to billing events. That processing uses our hosting provider (Vercel) and, when configured, a small encrypted database (Vercel KV) that stores license and subscription records tied to your email and order — not your card data. Creem’s handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.

4. Email & support

If you email us (for example at support@cmdenter.app), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to respond to and resolve your request.

5. Analytics & cookies

The Service does not require advertising cookies or third-party tracking to function. We do not use third-party analytics on the public site today.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, or to object to certain processing. Because most of your data lives only in your browser, you can exercise many of these rights yourself by clearing your local storage. For information held by us or by Creem in connection with your order, contact us at support@cmdenter.app and we will respond as required by applicable law.

7. Retention

We retain order and support records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Locally stored progress persists on your device until you clear it.

8. Children

The Service is intended for a general professional and technical audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “effective date” above reflects the latest version.
